The Saturn Death Cult is an investigation into ancient planetary upheavals that heralded the birth and destruction of a fabled Golden Age. It attempts to trace how, following the demise of this Golden Age, mankind then degenerated into the obsessive pursuit of wealth and power through the perverted horrors of slavery, child sacrifice and mass-murder rituals.
The author poses a solution for why the planet Saturn is portrayed in mythology as our original sun where it was said to be fixed in the heavens at Earth’s celestial north and from where it watched over the ancients like the All-seeing Eye of god.
An explanation is then forwarded explaining why today’s frightening sex-murder cults and secret societies are nothing more than a twisted, yet deadly legacy of a time when people yearned for the rebirth of the planet Saturn as our original sun and source of life and light. This is linked to the ancient practice of money lending and the consequences of this practice for today’s international financial crisis.
The conclusion is reached that there is a disturbing occult connection to the planet Saturn and its influence over a perceived worldwide collective march towards fulfilling a terrifying elitist agenda of ‘justifiable’ global genocide.

A different take on ancient history
By SmokeNMirrors
In the author's own words, "An alternative view looking at mythology as natural history, and human history as occult ritual".
The Saturn Death Cult is an enjoyable brief romp through ancient history, mythology and astrophysics, into little-known modern history (often referred to as "conspiracy theory" by the ignorant), drawing heavily on the works of the likes of Immanuel Velikovsky, Ev Cochrane, David Talbott, Dwardu Cardona and others who have shown in great depth that the real history of mankind over the past few millenia is very very different to the uniformitarian viewpoint that is generally accepted. The author takes us on a journey back in time to an era when the earth was dark and no sun, moon or stars shone in the sky; then Saturn, the king of all the gods of antiquity, first rose as the earth's sun and lit the earth with a reddish light for the first time; at a later time Saturn's magnetosphere came into contact with the sun's and Saturn flared up, ejecting vast amounts of matter in the process, some of which became the planet Venus which, being incandescent, shone like a star but, partly obscured behind Mars, was visible mostly as an 8-rayed star, cross or numerous other similar shapes which today are to be seen everywhere and yet whose true roots seem to be unknown.
Later still Saturn apparently exploded, causing the biblical deluge as frozen hydrogen from the exploding Saturn reacted with the earth's atmosphere. Evidence compiled by Immanuel Velikovsky in Earth in Upheaval (available online at the Internet Archive) demonstrates that ocean levels were once 3 or 4 miles lower than they now are, and Velikovsky again reported that ancient myths speak of the difficult in breathing and lighting fires after the deluge. These and other factors seem to support the notion that a large amount of atmospheric oxygen was somehow used up during the great Flood (see Velikovsky's On Saturn & The Flood at the online Velikovsky Archive). Saturn retreated into the further reaches of the sky as the strange planetary line up (Saturn, Venus, Mars & earth, possibly with Jupiter invisible behind Saturn) drifted apart, causing massive worldwide devastation for centuries (see Velikovsky's Worlds in Collision, again available online at the Internet Archive. See also Remembering the End of the World and Symbols of an Alien Sky, available on YouTube.)
After these events, as mankind regrouped and the planets settled into their present orbits, prior advanced knowledge was lost and mankind turned to the priesthood to explain, and then support, the myths and legends of the past. Mystery schools and secret societies appeared and proliferated. Large numbers of mankind became hooked on drugs as the ancient drug trade geared up, whilst money-lending became popular and led to banking and all the good stuff associated with that particular superfluous institution to the present day, all the while with the priesthood gaining ever more power and influence until they became kings themselves. And on into the Dark Ages with the rise of "the church" then the increasing domination of the bankers from the 15th or 16th centuries onwards until the rise of The Rothschilds in the early 1800s which has led to the present situation of nearly total global debt slavery, reliance on drugs and sex, and a near-total disconnection from nature.
The scenario painted by the author seems at first like a mixture of science fiction and conspiracy theory, and as he points out himself it is largely intuitive, rather than based on hard evidence (no footnotes are provided, and there is no bibliography. There are only a few links). It is, however, based upon a massive amount of research conducted since the 1950s by the above named researchers and others, and the subject matter is so vast that a brief review can hardly do it justice. I can only suggest reading the book and forming your own opinion; if you are familiar with the underlying concepts (the Saturn Myth, the electric universe, etc) you will probably find it entertaining and informative, with a few silly bits thrown in for, I hope, pure entertainment value. If you are not familiar with these concepts you may call it rubbish, probably without reading it. I can only encourage people to put aside such preconceptions and actually read what the author has to say; I can guarantee that you will at least be fascinated as to how such a theory could come about, and hopefully you will be interested enough to read more.

Interesting alternative world view that deserves a closer more academic study
By I.Gonzalez Pileo
As an introduction to the alternative views that the electric universe theory proposes, and as an explanation of mythology and astrotheology as a source of today's elite right to rule, the Saturn death cult accomplishes to peak the interest of the reader into further study of this subjects. Being familiar with Troy's work I wish the book would have gotten more in depth on some issues. To cover the history of the world and civilization in a compelling narrative that makes more sense that the mainstream line of history is a tremendous task. So you should take this book as a guideline to explore the endless depths of this subjects by yourself . In the alternative community there's no easy answers to understand the complexities of the world, but the ones put forward by the Saturn death cult are compelling.

Fascination plus
By Marco
A short but highly fascinating look at Saturn theory. Plus what that means in today's terms from a corrupt and satanic viewpoint. For a broader explanation re Saturn theory, I am now reading Cosmos in Collision, an indispensable supplement co-written by Troy McLachlan, a decent man who is happy to reply to reader's questions. In short, proud to own both.
