If you like to read books with action in them then Plague is for you. It is non-stop!!! A virus attacks the animals, of the Serengeti, who attempt to take down the Security Forces that protect them from poachers. Some people that are bitten, also become virus controlled and attack anything living. A never ending battle evolves. Solid characters with a moving story.
5 star read only because the author grabs you in the first chapter and then holds your interest until you reach that last page.

Well where to begin... I love the Hank Boyd books and was wishing this was another, but instead it was an action lovers dream. Somewhere around the first third of the book when I had a second to breathe,i remember thinking this was how I felt the first time I read a Matt Reilly book. This book is unreal. If you enjoy action and monsters you should read this immediately. Matthew James is getting better with every book and now the only thing that I don't like is waiting for the next one. Bring on Dead Moon.

This book was awesome. It pulled me in and I couldn't help myself - I wanted to keep reading until I found out about the WWII secret. I loved seeing the thoughts of the monsters as they 'remembered' their past and their human life. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed it.

I loaned out my old copy and never got it back, so just bought a new copy....does that tell you how much I like this book?

I've read my share of these type of books, and this one is at the top of my list with Angelnook Publishing Books!

If you believe that changing your thinking will change your life, that we can control our thoughts and by doing so improve our over all circumstances, you'll find this book extremely helpful.

I must say one of my favorite books on this topic, I was very very surprised with this book. The book and chapter selection is nice and WAY more than I ever expected. I definitely did not expect to find such book treasure.

I would recommend it for anyone.

The way this guy puts across spiritual principles and metaphysical teachings is incredable. These are books that I will be reading again and again over the years. Just great.

I really doubt it because it had so many major mistakes in the actual writing like mixing up characters with each other

This was actually quite ok in the storyline etc but was clearly very badly edited.Did the author even read it back to themselves before it was released? I really doubt it because it had so many major mistakes in the actual writing like mixing up characters with each other. Really basic stuff a 6th grader wouldn't do. A shame the quality control was so poor because it had the basics of a good book.

Any potential this story or this author might have (and really IS plenty there, this author has got loads of potential ) is ruined by the constant editorial and narrative mistakes woven throughout. There are (huge) mistakes here I would not expect to see from any author inviting the public to read his work. Sadly this is not the first book of his I have read containing numerous basic mistakes in copy editing and proof reading. For god's sake either get yourself a editor or get a new one who doesn't need a guide dog.

So-so, and in need of an editing

I agree with other reviewers - this is seriously in need of editing. Other than that, I thought it was so-so as hotwife erotica goes. It's mildly interesting that the couple repeatedly gets cold feet before they finally decide to go ahead with it. It seems to be more about the back and forth - in the husband's mind, and between him and his wife as he slowly realizes she has more of a sexual past than he thought - than about the sex.

Should be in every climber's library

This should be in every climber's library, along with Horst's other works. His material is backed by sound sports science and legitimately works. This is the recently-released third edition of this book, which updates it with some of the same, more recent information he has included in Training for Climbing and Maximum Climbing. Although there is a lot of overlap with those works, this book focuses more on higher end climbers. It not only works for those trying to get to 5.12, but for those trying to advance at all in those higher grades of 5.12+.

The self-evaluations in this work are less elaborate than in his other works, especially compared to Conditioning for Climbing, which had very good evaluations. That is a shame because his better ones can be very helpful. In spite of that this is a great book, especially when combined with Conditioning for Climbing and Maximum Climbing (if you are high-end enough to use this book, you may want to skip Training for Climbing, which is largely the same material but aimed at climbers of all levels).

How to Climb 5.12 is more motivational talk than climbing guidance. There is some helpful material on scheduling, recovery, and cost-benefit assessment of different activities. However, it could stand more clear exercises for building climbing skills, strength, and eliminating fear of falling.

Not only does this book provide you with 16 starter projects – it covers the basics from finding your sewing style, identifying your customers, essential equipment, buying and using your fabric to sewing and selling. There are also interviews throughout the chapters from talented sewists who have taken the leap and created their own craft business. What I really enjoyed about this book was each pattern included a cutting guide for a single item and then a cutting guide for multiples – an excellent time saver for stock building. Each project also included a sample price guide – perfect for any first time seller who is unsure of what to price their precious sewn items. (Make Modern Magazine, 11/3/14)

The author's expertise in running Gingercake Patterns, an online pattern business, is put to good use in a book that's half-helpful suggestions for those who want to start a home-based sewing business and half a selection of 16 sewing patterns that can be used to make projects to sell. The first section contains valuable information on everything from identifying potential customers to taking good photos for online sales and setting prices for craft shows. Lindsay doesn't offer much advice about the less glamorous and more practical aspects of setting up shop, such as incorporating a business or figuring out a profit margin, but there's enough to be worthwhile. The projects are cute, too, including a simple boxy pincushion and an appealing, reversible grocery tote, all clearly explained with step-by-step diagrams. None of the patterns are revolutionary, but - this is key - Lindsay grants permission for all 16 projects to be sewn and sold, an important consideration for those starting a sewing business, and quite possibly making the book worth the price just for those. Worth the Money. Patterns are Cute too!

Nicely laid out, well organized. I really liked the 'stock your shelves' notes on how to make multiples at once and pointers on how to make fabric use more economical (aka make four at once and need less overall yardage than doing one-offs). Plus youtube videos showing how to make some of it. I sewed the market tote two days after I got this, and it was peasy easy especially having seen the youtube first (that video is what led me to tracking down the book). I purchased this kindle, and in the kindle version they give a link to a place to download the patterns, so it was instant gratification and print and tape together my own pattern pieces. I think the investment was well worth the price.

This book is full of helpful information. It is written for the newbie containing great ideas and tips for marketing and selling your work. I was really pleased I purchased this book. Don't know if I'll start a craft business at this point but now have information to assist me in making the decision.
