Required for school

There are a lot of books I have to buy for school and this was one of them. While I was a bit leary of some of the chapters (prostitution,LGBT, etc.) I felt uncomfortable with, this book has insight to inequalities amongst gender and race. I found myself questioning my social status and the advantages/disadvantages of my gender and race. Some parts are a bit crass for my taste, but wholefully truthful.
